Welcome to the Gravesend Gamers Guild website!. 

We are a friendly and enthusiastic club based in Gravesend in Kent. We meet every Wednesday at a hall in Gravesend that is hired out by the club. We play a variety of table-top games, including Warhammer, Warhammer 40.000, Warhammer Ancients, Magic, Mordheim, and various other unique games.

We have quite a few members at the club and there is currently no yearly membership fee to attend the club. We simply ask that you pay two pounds everytime you attend the club, although your first time is free!. Attendance fees allow us to keep hiring the hall out and also supply you with the scenery/terrain you need to play the games!. The club is open from 6:30pm onwards.

It really doesn't matter what level of wargammer you are in our club. We have new members ranging up to members who have played for decades!. No matter what your level of gaming or knowledge you will always be welcome and find a friendly gamer on hand to guide you through a game, the rules or even general advice on painting an army.

The club runs several in house tournaments and campaigns every year and we recommend you speak to the designated member in charge of organizing each games tournaments if you wish to take part. This can be an ideal way of learning the game fast as you would be expected to compete in a number of games. Most of the games that we play are designed by a company called Games Workshop. Games Workshop own a number of stores around the UK and in fact all over the world. Rule books, equipment, and figures for your army can all be brought from this store. Alternatively you may wish to search on Ebay, or click on our Links page for other companys you could buy stuff from!.

The hobby itself is as expensive or inexpensive as you wish to make it. Most games that we play in respect of Warhammer are around the 2000 point mark. We do not require you to have a fully painted army as we respect not everyone enjoys this aspect of the hobby and simply wants to play!.
