3) For the tournament, we will be using Living Rulebook 5 (LR5). This
will be avilable at the club for players to check on the new rulings.
This is slightly different to the rules currently found at the GW
website. If you have a query regarding a cost/rule etc then please PM
Matt Hudson via the Gravesend Gamers Guild Forum or place ypour
question in the Blood Bowl Thread.
4) No Star Players maybe included in starting teams. These maybe freebooted in later games or there maybe a draft/silent auction.
5) A copy of your starting team will need to be submitted to the league co-ordinator before your first league game.
League Play
1) The league will follow the rules in LR5.
2) At the end of each game you and your opponent will need to complete
a result slip that will need to be signed by both of you confirming the
result of the game.
3) At the end of a game your opponent will need to witness any star
player rolls you make: fan factor/assistant coaches/re-roll increases
etc. The game will run on an honour system.
4) Results will then be tabulated once per month and the current league
table will be available at the start of each months play.
5) You may play any number of games on the designated Wednesday each
month that count towards the league table. Practice games maybe played
at any other time but will not count towards the table or generate Star
Player Points etc.
6) On league night you may play against each team once/twice.
7) Points are awarded as follows:
i. 3 for a win
ii. 1 for a draw
iii. A bonus point if you score 5 or more touchdowns in a game.
8) If a player dies in a league game, then they are dead and are
removed from your team roster. this player maybe replaced between games
if you have enough gold in your treasury with a 'standard' player from
your team list at the value given in LR5.
9) Only players who are a) from the orginal team list (eg not
freebooters, induced players etc) and b) still 'alive' may recieve the
MVP award at the end of each match.
Playoffs
1) After the 3rd Wednesday in June, the final league table will be produced.
2) In the event of a tie in the final standings, the difference between
the touchdowns scored and conceded will decide the final standings. If
teams cannot still be seperated then touchdowns scored will be taken
into consideration firstly then if still tied, touchdown conceded will
be looked at. If this still can't seperate the teams, a one-off
wildcard will be played between the two coaches as soon as possible.
3) The top 8 teams will then be in playoffs. They will be randomly
drawn. Winners will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of this
will then play for the title. The losers of the semi finals will
playoff for 3rd and 4th.
4) These games may be played at any time, as long as a results slip is completed and returned.
5) The Winner will then be announced in August 2010.
